Ministry of Education New Zealand

What we release

The Ministers of Education receive a wide range of advice from us when they make decisions across the education sector.

Some of these decision-making processes will take longer than others. This means that some materials delivered to the ministers may be about items that stay under active consideration and take longer for us to share.

When we are able to, we release these documents with some lines removed according to the Official Information Act. See the list of withholding grounds below.

When we release

Each week, we release a list of the titles of briefings and reports that the Minister received from the Ministry.

Once a month, we release the full text of advice received.
