Heavy rain warnings remain in place until later today and schools Kura and Early learning services (ELS) are following the advice of local Civil Defence and other emergency Services. The decision to close remains that of the boards for schools and centre managers and owners for Early Learning services.

The best information will come from schools themselves and parents and whānau are advised to check their school’s website or Facebook page or contact them directly for the latest information.
