What ENROL is
ENROL is an enrolment management application containing enrolment records for all ākonga | students in New Zealand.
It is used by:
- schools and kura to make updates as students enrol, change schools or leave the school system
- Resource Teachers Learning and Behaviour (RTLBs) to record learning support information
- Te Whatu Ora vision and hearing technicians to enter test results in student records
- Attendance Service staff following up on non-enrolment notifications
- Ministry staff to ensure data quality and support the education system.
Your school or kura must use ENROL unless it has received a written exemption letter from us. It is the principal's responsibility to make sure their school has staff members with ENROL access.
Circular 2020/08 explains the details that schools and kura must record in ENROL.
